FREE SHIPPING on most products
We offer free shipping on most orders to the continental US only. Overweight and/or oversize items, may incur additional shipping costs. Please contact us for expedited shipping.
Upon placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. We will process your order immediately and will reach out to the supplier to confirm that your parts are in stock and available for shipment. If any item is on back-order or unavailable, we will reach out to you via e-mail or text and provide the estimated shipping date. We will retain the authorized payment when we place your order with the manufacturer. As such, we must charge your credit card upfront when the order is placed. ITEMS ARE SHIPPED DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURER (or nearest distribution center) SO YOU GET YOUR ORDER AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us, feel free to follow up with us at email@example.com.
Due to the size and weight of roof top tents, most cannot be sent by regular UPS/Fed Ex and must be sent by cargo truck. Please arrange an ideal location with easy access/and or forklift services to ensure no damage occurs in transit.
For residential freight deliveries: The courier will only deliver to sidewalk if forklift/dock service is not available. If delivery will be made to a residential location, you MUST provide a good telephone# that you can be reached at, in order for the driver to schedule a delivery time. Failure to provide a working telephone number will result in your product not being shipped until we can make contact with you.
If you cannot arrange to be available, we can also arrange to deliver to the nearest freight facility (call for details).
Shipping Lead Times:
- Freespirit Recreation: up to 15 business days. Tents ship free to nearest FedEx Freight location. Tents ship to nearest Freight location unless other arrangements made. Additional fees may apply for residential deliveries.(must contact Midwest Adventure Rentals for residential delivery).
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please send photos to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
***DO NOT ACCEPT ANY DELIVERY without WRITING DOWN THE DETAILS OF THE DAMAGE on the delivery form FIRST with the driver present.
Shipping companies will not satisfy an insurance claim without the damage noted by the customer.
We cannot be held responsible for any product damages incurred during transit. We will work with the manufacturer to facilitate however a claim, on the customer’s behalf with the carrier, but it is subject to the above annotations being made on the delivery slip and approval by the carrier.
If the damage is bad and it is obvious the products inside the package are damaged:
- DO NOT SIGN for the item
- REFUSE THE DELIVERY
- Please contact us immediately at email@example.com with any shipping issues.
Orders cancelled prior to shipping or returned will incur a processing fee of:
- $25 for order values under $1000
- $45 for orders up to $1,499
- $55 for orders up to $1,999
- $65 for orders up to $2,499
- $75 for $2500+.
We charge this fee because once your card is charged, we pay a processing fee to the payment provider that is not refundable to our company if an order is cancelled.
Returns, & Refunds:
Midwest Adventure Rentals honors all warranty and return policies of our product manufacturers. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges, unless Midwest Adventure Rentals or the manufacturer made a mistake. Refunds will only be issued to the original payment used when the order was placed (i.e. credit card, PayPal).
Purchases can be returned within 30 days of purchase. All returned items must be in new, resalable condition and include original packaging and all hardware and accessories. A restocking fee may apply (up to 25% of the purchase price). After 30 days, non-warranty related returns are at the sole discretion of the manufacturer. A restocking fee may apply (up to 30% of the purchase price).
Additionally, Midwest Adventure Rentals will charge our cancellation fee as outlined above. If the reason for return is not a result of a manufacturer's error, shipping costs, if any, incurred by Midwest Adventure Rentals will be deducted from your refund.
If you’d like to make a return or exchange, PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST at firstname.lastname@example.org for a RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization number) and detailed return instructions.
We strongly urge you to repackage the products with care and use a reputable shipping company with tracking and insurance. Midwest Adventure Rentals or the product manufacturer cannot be held liable or responsible for items lost in transit. It generally takes 5-7 business days after the return arrives at the warehouse for your return to be processed and credit to be issued. As soon as the return is processed, we will send you an email confirmation.
Please print your RMA clearly on the shipping label.
